Ilona Žvinakienė

"I paint when I feel a moment of happiness, when I can observe and try to convey the fragility of sowthistle, the silhouette of an apple, the bend of the road running from the fog. I can carry that feeling and image for a long time," says painter Ilona Žvinakienė.

The artist states that in the AMRES ART plein air sessions she understood more deeply and strongly the significance of nature, art, and the expression of emotions for human health. "I always feel responsible because I know that emotion caused by my painting will not only affect the viewer, but will also come back to me in a hundredfold," she says.
